How do I place an order?

You can browse and request a cake via our store section. Just choose your preferred cake style and fill out the request form. We will then send you an email an invoice once your order has been accepted.  Click here to get going.

Can I collect my cake the day before my event?

Sure thing! As we recommend eating the cakes within 48 hours from collection, it’s best you wrap the entire cake box that it comes in with 2 to 3 layers of clingfilm before storing in the fridge. By doing this the cake is safe from fridge odours and helps any flowers to remain fresh. Bring the cake to room temperature before serving (do NOT microwave to do this). Make sure you keep it away from any form of heat or direct sunlight!

Oops! I need to cancel my order.

We offer a full refund if you cancel your order within 5 working days before the date you wanted it for. Please email us with your order code to request cancellation.

Can I make changes to my order?

Yes, as long as you give us at least 5 days notice. Simply send us an email with your changes along with your order code, which we supply you with once your order is confirmed. All updated orders will be confirmed via email.

How far ahead of time should I book my cake?

The earlier the better – we recommend 7 working days at the very least. Orders are taken on a first come, first serve basis and are limited to availability.  All of our cakes are made to order and we can never know how busy we may be when you need your cake. When requesting to order your cake via the store you are required to enter the date you need it by so that we can accept or decline your order accordingly.

I need a cake urgently. Is there any chance you can squeeze my order in?

Sorry, unfortunately not. We can never predict how busy each week may be so fitting in a last-minute cake can’t be guaranteed. Do however send us an email if you would like to be put on a waiting list in case another order is cancelled.

I saw a cake on your Instagram feed that I like. Can I order a similar one?

Of course! Just use the description of the cake on Instagram to find it on our website when ordering. If you can’t find it just email us and we can help you out. Please note that each cake is a unique creative expression, with no cake being exactly the same.

Would you cover my cake in fondant?

What you see on our online store is what you get. If the cake isn’t covered in fondant in the listing, we won’t cover it in fondant unless stated otherwise.

Do you do gluten-free cakes?

Check the cake flavour section when filling out the request form for the cake you want. If there is a gluten-free option, then yes.

Can I order now and pay later?

No. All orders need to be paid for upfront. After your request has been accepted we will invoice you accordingly. If you cancel more than 5 working days before your order is due we will fully refund you.

Can you deliver my cake?

Yes, but we only deliver in the Cape Town area. When filling out a cake request form you are required to select ‘Pick up’ or ‘Delivery’. Please note that delivery comes at an additional cost, which will be calculated according to where you are and will be added to your cake order invoice.

If you are a little further out of Cape Town, let us know then we can arrange to personally deliver at an additional cost.

What is the best way to handle my cake once I've collected it from your kitchen in Woodstock?

Make sure your cars air conditioning is on and that you’ve put the cake box flat on the floor of your car and not on your seats. Once home, keep your cake refrigerated and bring to room temperature about an hour before serving. Do NOT microwave to heat it up.

I have a nut allergy. Do you work with nuts in your kitchen?

Yes, we do work in a kitchen that uses nuts and nut products. If you have a nut allergy please do be sure to inform us. We will try our best to not let your order get in contact with nuts but because we do work with nuts often we cannot guarantee this – ordering from us is entirely at your own risk.

Where is your kitchen?

As we are based online we do not have a shop front. If you want to come visit please make arrangements with us beforehand.
